Manufactured in 1954-55. This revolver features a fixed Patridge front and an adjustable rear notch sights on a checkered solid rib. Equipped with a casehardened serrated trigger and a casehardened checkered hammer. Fitted with diamond checkered grips with silver Smith & Wesson medallions. Complete with a Smith & Wesson factory gold box numbered to the gun.

Excellent with 97% of the original blue finish with only slight handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are very good with some minor dings on the butt. The checkering is crisp. The gold box is very good with some minor scuff marks, corner and edge wear. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1955, the first year of production. These revolvers were only manufactured for two years before it was renamed the Model 19. Has a serrated ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear notch sight. The serial number is stamped on the butt, the back of the cylinder and in the barrel ejector rod cutout. Very fine overall. The revolver retains 98% of the original blue finish with minor scattered scratches and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are very good with minor dings. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
