Manufactured in 1912. This rifle features a beaded blade front sight, buckhorn rear sight, and full length magazine tube. The left barrel flat is stamped with the two-line address/patent date marking and "25-20 W.C.F." is stamped near the breech. The magazine takedown bar is stamped with the 1893 patent date, the upper tang has the three-line model/trademark information, Winchester oval factory proofs are on the top of the barrel and receiver near the breech, and the serial number is on the underside of the frame. Mounted on a multi-point checkered fancy walnut forearm with steel forend cap and a pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap and crescent buttplate.

Good as refinished. The barrel and magazine tube retain most of the refinished blue with circular scratches on the magazine tube near the takedown bar. The receiver retains 30% of the original blue with scattered scratches and pitting. The takedown collar is mottled to a smooth silver patina and the upper tang is refinished with slight scratches. The revarnished wood is fine with a few slight scratches and the checkering has been re-cut. Mechanically excellent.
