Description:

This is a fine example of a WWII Nazi Army Military proofed Walther PPK pistol, complete with a spare magazine and holster. It has the late production milled blue finish with the one-piece, checkered black plastic grips. The pistol has a cartridge indicator pin on the slide, side magazine release and lanyard loop on the butt. The Army acceptance mark, "eagle/WaA359", is stamped on the left side of the slide and frame. The serial number is marked vertically on the right side of the frame. "Eagle/N" nitro proofs are stamped on the right side of the slide, chamber and muzzle. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner, followed by the factory legend and caliber in two lines, and the model designation. The side of each magazine is marked with the "Walther Banner/PPK 7.65 mm". It is accompanied by a brown leather holster (non-PPK type) that has a partially legible (stewert), makers mark ink stamped inside the front flap.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 85% plus of the original war time blued finish overall showing wear and fading on all the metal surfaces. The grips are in very good condition with nice checkering on both sides with the right side having a large crack in the middle of the grip. The holster is good overall with a nice brown color overall with tight stitching with the rear edge of the holster having some slight deformation as it was not made originally for the pistol.
