Description:

Manufactured around 1925, with fixed sights, "95" on the trigger and the two line manufacturer, caliber and model markings on the left side of the slide, and "7,65" black enamel filled brass medallions on the checkered grips. Less than 1000 of this model were manufactured. The front grip strap is marked "ZW/133", which is a police mark from the city of Zwickau or Zweibrucken. Included with the pistol is a brown pigskin flap holster ink marked "STEVENSON/35509237" on the interior. Records show a Robert Stevenson by that service number as a Private with the United States Army, enlisted in 1942 out of Christian County, Kentucky "for the duration plus six months". While not documented, it would be well in character for an American soldier to pick up a compact and handy pistol like this one in the field, both as a souvenir and as an emergency weapon if they weren't issued a 1911A1.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing bright wear along the high edges and scattered handling marks. The grips are fair, with mended cracks and chips in the left panel and mild dings and scuffs overall. The holster is good with a few scuffs and stains. Mechanically excellent.
