Description:

Both prints are left side diagrams of the receiver and chamber area of the Thompson Sub-Machine Gun, mounted on boards with plastic covers and edges. Both were submitted by draftsman Otto Wild and approved by George E. Gall. 1) Blueprint on Auto-Ordinance paper, dated November 7, 1938, 35 1/4 inches wide and 23 inches tall, featuring three reduced diagrams of failures to feed/extract, with instructions for clearance of said jams. 2) Colored information diagram, dated October 31, 1932 and labeled for the U.S. Navy Model 1928, with blown-up multi-colored images showing the internal parts and external controls of the Thompson. The parts are numbered, though no legend is included on the print.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, with some fading in the upper right corner, wear along the edges and mild handling marks. 2) Very good, with some tape present at the corners from an old hanging, a few small tears and minor stains. An absolute must for a Thompson collector!
