Introduced in 2006, the FS2000 is the semi-automatic version of FN's F2000 bullpup assault rifle, and carries many features that represent the state of the art in .223/5.56mm rifles, It was designed to use extensive polymer construction, integral top Picatinny rail, STANAG magazine compatibility and a fully ambidextrous front ejecting bullpup system. Fitted with a 4-vent flash hider, hand-adjustable gas regulator, smooth polymer buttstock and ribbed buttplate. The carbine is also fitted with an integral factory 1.6x scope with an outer housing designed to match the lines of the gun with integral fixed post and notch sights on top of the scope housing. Includes a shipping box numbered to the gun, factory blue picture box numbered to gun, tools, cleaning kit, and papers.
