Manufactured in 1914. With dual bead sights on a solid concave matte rib. The top of the rib is marked "PARKER BROS.MAKERS.MERIDEN. CONN. TITANIC STEEL". The barrels are choked full/full with 2 3/4 inch chambers and ejectors. The receiver is engraved with dogs on point in a field scene on both the left and right sides with the Parker Brothers banner. The underside is engraved with four ducks. The rest of the action is engraved with a tight swirling scroll pattern. The trigger guard, fences, and break lever are similarly engraved. Fitted with dual triggers and an automatic thumb safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm with engraved hardware and pistol grip stock with tear drop flats, Parker Brothers hard rubber grip cap, blank silver initial oval, and a solid rubber NOSHOC recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .738/.739 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .046/.045 inches; 1 3/4 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 0 cast; 0 toe; 14 1/8 inch length of pull. Includes a leather mutton leg case.

Fine with 20% of the original blue finish on the barrels. Displaying areas of pitting and spotting that have been cleaned, some small dents in the barrel wall, general handling marks, and clear markings on the rib. The receiver has aged to a mottled gray patina with general handling marks, some spotting, and clear markings and engraving. The trigger guard has been cleaned. The wood is fine as refinished with the added recoil pad. Displaying small indentations throughout, general handling marks, and some longer scratches and hair-line cracks in the forearm and stock. Mechanically very good. The case is fine with general edge and corner scuffs, handling marks, and cracking and tears in a few of the straps.
