Manufactured in 1929. This shotgun has been custom engraved in a style similar to the famous Parker A1 grade. The barrels have a single bead sight and wedges of intricate floral and scroll engraving at the muzzle. The chambers are 2 9/16 inches with auto ejectors, and the chokes are improved modified/full. The rib is marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. PEERLESS STEEL"; the peerless marking has been hand cut and is not an original roll mark. The sides of the chambers feature 2 3/4 inch wedges of highly detailed floral scroll engraving. The receiver has a coin gray finish with tight detailed floral scroll engraving covering the entire outer surface, featuring detailed semi relief cut blossoms. The fences have been sculpted to create three ribs on each side. The trigger guard features yet more scroll engraving with a small quail scene at the front. The trigger plate is signed "OLIN ENGR". Fitted with dual triggers and a thumb safety. Mounted on a nicely figured multi-point checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with engraved hardware on the forearm and a solid rubber recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: Bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .735/.733 inches; Wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .032/.033 inches; Drop at comb 1 1/4 inch; Drop at heel 2 1/4 inch; 0 cast; 1/4 inch toe out; 14 1/2 inch length of pull.

Very fine as professionally upgraded and finished. Displaying only light handling marks on the barrels and receiver. The engraving is incredibly detailed. The wood is very fine with intense figuring, rich color, sharp checkering and some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
