Features a fixed blade front and manual flip up rear notch sights on the solid matte rib. The shotgun barrels have 2 3/4 inch chambers and improved cylinder/cylinder chokes. The drilling features a unique horn cocking lever on the underside of the frame. Unlike a standard box lock, cocking is accomplished by pulling the lever counter clockwise until it clicks, this also releases the barrel group, opening the breech for loading and extraction of spent shells. The action features detailed game scene engraving of deer and hunting dogs with borders of broad floral scroll. Mounted on a nicely figured multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap, sling swivels, raised cheekpiece, and a checkered horn buttplate. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches, drop at comb is 1 3/4 inches, drop at heel is 2 1/2 inches, cast is 0, and the toe is in 1/4 inch.

Fine as refinished with 80% of the blue. The barrels show areas of high point and edge wear, visible solder along the central rib, and light markings. The frame has aged to a uniform gray patina with crisp engraving, general handling marks and light spotting. The wood is very good as refreshed with rich color, well defined checkering and general handling marks. Mechanically very good.
