The frame, lock plates, hammers, trigger guard and fences all feature broad open German floral scroll engraving as does the cartridge trap on the buttstock. Fitted with a beaded blade front and automatic rear leaf sights on the matte solid rib. The rib also features claw style scope mounts and is fitted with a Hensoldt Wetzlar scope. The underside of the scope base is marked "MADE BY/ERNST A. PRIEBE/1967". The shotgun barrels have 2 9/16 inch chambers and have full chokes. The center fire rifle barrel has been sleeved and converted to .22 Hornet and is marked "ERNST A. PRIEBE/CLEVELAND OH" on the underside. The shotgun barrel flats have pre-war German commercial proofs. Mounted on a checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a cheekpiece, basket weave checkered horn buttplate, dual triggers and selector switch. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches.

Fine as converted to .22 Hornet and refinished. Showing 75% of the blue with some areas of light edge wear, thinning finish, a few small nicks and light scratches. The frame and lock plates have aged to a mostly gray patina with some light spotting and handling marks. The buttstock trap has similarly aged. The wood is very good as freshened with well defined checkering, scattered small indentations and general handling marks. Mechanically very good.
