This stunning example of a Midas Grade shotgun features incredibly detailed and intricate semi-relief floral scroll engraving on the frame surrounding scenes of gold inlaid ducks in flight on the right side, a gold inlaid grouse in flight on the bottom, and three gold inlaid pheasants on the left. All of the bird scenes feature finely detailed backgrounds and the left and right sides have fancy gold wire inlaid borders. As stated this particular gun is double signed and features the signature of Andre Dierckx on the right and left sides, and the signature of Louis Vranken on the right side bird scene. The trigger guard is similarly scroll engraved with a large blank initial shield. The vent rib barrel features dual bead sights, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and full/full chokes Mounted on a fancy multi-point checkered beavertail forearm and flat knob pistol grip stock with a vented White Line recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .722/.724 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .039/.038 inches; 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 1 1/4 inch drop at heel; 0 cast; 0 toe; 13 7/8 inch length of pull. Includes a custom leather bound takedown case with a green flannel interior, keys and manual.

Excellent with 97% plus original blue finish. Displaying some areas of light handling marks. The trigger does show some slight loss of the gold washed finish. The wood is excellent with some scattered small scratches and mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some mild scuffs on the exterior and general handling marks.
