Manufactured in Belgium in 1975. This beautiful Pointer Grade features dual white bead sights on the matte vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and skeet marked chokes. The receiver is engraved with the classic FN Pointer Grade dog and bird game scenes on the sides with borders of tight detailed floral scroll, a small grouse on the bottom and pheasants in flight on the long tang trigger guard. The lower left side of the receiver is signed "Cbaerten".The action has a single gold washed trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Mounted on a multi-point checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a vented Browning recoil pad. Includes a canvas covered Browning takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .620/.618 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .04/.041 inches; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; 1 3/4 inch drop at heel; 0 cast; 0 toe; 14 1/2 inch length of pull.

Excellent with 99% of the original finish on the barrels and frame, displaying light general handling marks and some light oxidation on the left side ejector. The wood is also excellent with sharp checkering, attractive grain, general light handling marks and a slightly rough patch of varnish on the right side of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some slight discoloration on the exterior.
