Excellent. The barrel retains 99% of the original blue finish with only the slightest of handling marks. The receiver retains 99% of the original coin finish with only the slightest of handling marks. The engraving and gold highlights are crisp and clear. The wood is very fine with some minor scattered scratches. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent. Corrected Informatioin: This rifle has a fixed barrel and is not a takedown model.
