A) J. Stevens Arms Co. Model 37 Stevens-Gould Single Shot Pistol with Pearl Grips

Description:

Manufactured between 1889 and 1903. The barrel is marked on the left flat with the two-line Stevens A&T address. Features a fixed blade front and fully adjustable rear sporting sights. The hammer and trigger are checkered. Fitted with smooth pearl grips and a wide heavy butt.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished with 80% of the blue on the barrel. Showing some areas of light edge wear, minor pitting under the blue, areas of an aged light brown patina, and general handling marks. The frame shows small dings throughout, general handling marks, and a slightly frosted appearance to the nickel. The grips are very good with general handling marks. Mechanically very good.

Description:

Manufactured between 1889 and 1903. The barrel is marked on the left flat with the two-line Chicopee address and patent information. Fitted with a blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights. The hammer and trigger are checkered with a nitre blue finish. Fitted with checkered grips and a wide heavy butt.

Rating Definition:

Very good with 80% of the original finish. Showing some light muzzle wear, scattered small scratches, and light spotting on the barrel. The sight elevation screw is missing. The frame shows small surface scratches, general handling marks, and some small dings. The butt does show some areas of bare brass where the nickel has flaked off concentrated on the right side of the butt. The grips are very good with well defined checkering, and handling marks. Mechanically very good.
