Fitted with a fixed blade front and notch rear sights. The only markings on the barrel are standard Belgian proofs and the caliber designation "FL.22.L" on the left side of the chamber. The nickel finished frame exhibits fine, tight floral scroll engraving with a wavy border. The spurred trigger guard is also engraved in this manner, as are the back strap and butt. Even the screw heads and exposed ends of the screws have been engraved. The frame is marked "ALC" on the left side just behind the barrel retaining screw, and "1024" on the right side just behind the barrel screw. Fitted with smooth grips and a wide heavy butt. Very similar to the Steven's pattern single shot pistols.

Very good with 85% of the original blue and nickel finish. Showing some light edge wear on the barrel, scattered small handling marks, light freckling, and a few scattered light dings. The blue trigger guard has aged to a mostly dark gray patina and the back strap does show some dark, rough spotting. The grips are very good with some light cracks at the screws, an aged cream tint, and general handling marks. Mechanically very good.
