This revolver was originally manufactured in 1902 and has since been converted (sleeved) to fire .22 rimfire ammunition and outfitted with adjustable blade front and dovetailed notch sights, a Bisley style hammer and a wide serrated trigger. The barrel and grip frame are unmarked. The frame has the standard patent marking and Rampant Colt emblem on the left and the matching serial number is on the bottom of the frame and trigger guard. The loading gate has the assembly number "944." The grips are numbered to different guns.

Good as custom converted to 22 and totally refinished. The revolver retains 80% of the blue finish with some fading to a brown patina and various marks and dings. There are some spots of faint pitting. The post-war replacement grips are very good and have crisp checkering. The action functions fine.
