Manufactured in 1955. Ramped hood beaded blade front sight, rear sight filler block and Lyman 66A receiver peep sight. Standard markings with Winchester oval proofs on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Checkered forearm with steel forend and a pistol grip stock with a plastic grip cap and checkered steel buttplate. Writer believes the suffix was put on by the factory at time of refurbishment to denote a duplicate serial number and/or replacement for the original serial number, but has no information to support the theory.

Very fine as factory refurbished with 97% of the blue finish with slight scattered scratches. The wood is very fine with a few minor dings. The checkering has moderate wear. Mechanically excellent.
