Manufactured in Belgium in 1973. Fitted with a single steel bead sight on the matte vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and full/improved modified chokes. The receiver features standard light floral scroll engraving and a deep blue finish. The underside of the frame has "LIGHTNING/BROWNING" over a small portrait of John Moses Browning. Mounted on a multi-point checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a single selective trigger and a tang mounted safety/barrel selector. Includes a Browning box numbered to the gun with papers. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .729/.725 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0355/.038 inches; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; 0 cast; 0 toe; 14 1/4 inch length of pull.

Excellent with 99% plus original blue finish. Displaying only light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered light indentations. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good.
