Manufactured in 1978. The barrels feature a single bead sight on the matte vent rib with 3 inch chambers, ejectors and improved cylinder/modified chokes. The receiver features highly detailed field scene engraving of an English pointer with borders of detailed, tight floral scroll. The underside and the trigger guard feature oak leaf and acorn bunches and more scrollwork. Fitted with a single gold washed trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Mounted on a nicely figured multi-point checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a plastic Browning buttplate. Includes a Browning takedown case and keys. Barrel and stock measurements are: Bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .619/.619 inches; Wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .0405/.0405 inches; Drop at comb 1 3/8 inch; Drop at heel 2 inches; 0 cast; 14 1/4 inch length of pull.

Very good with 95% of the original finish. The barrels show some red/brown oxidation at the muzzle, and light handling marks. The receiver has some light handling marks, crisp engraving and some light spotting at the front of the trigger guard. The wood is good as repaired with a hairline cracking at the left side of the wrist scattered small indentations and surface scratches, sharp checkering and general handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with a small tear on the outside top of the lid.
