Description:

Running Stallions bronze by Robert Farrington Elwell (American 1874-1962). Three American Mustangs running pack style with the lead horse in front of the other two trailing horses. These horses appear to be running free on the plains with no worry among themselves but to enjoy being free-range horses. The bronze rests on a custom black marble plinth and signed "ELWELL" on the bronze base. The bronze dimensions are approximately 27" L x 18" H x 10" W. The marble plinth is approximately 27" L x 13 1/2" W x 2" H. The bronze weighs approximately 80 lbs.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The bronze has only slight handling marks and a smooth dark patina.
