These bronzes were made by Frederic Remington (American: 1861-1909). 1) "Rattle Snake". The bronze depicts a horse and its rider spooked by a rattlesnake on the ground. The artist signature is at the horses two back feet. The bronze measures approximately 21" high x 14" long x 8" wide. Mounted on a 1" black marble plinth with a brass plaque. The bronze weighs approximately 46 lbs. 2) "Wicked Pony" The bronze depicts a rider bucked from a pony he may have been trying to tame. The artist signature is below the rider's left leg. The bronze measures approximately 20" high x 21" long x 8" wide, Mounted on a 1" black marble plinth with brass plaque. The bronze weighs approximately 45 lbs.

Both bronzes are excellent with only slight handling marks and a smooth dark patina.
