These bronzes were made by Frederic Remington (American: 1861-1909). 1) "Cowboy". The bronze depicts a horse and its rider galloping through the prairie with the Cowboy looking back. The artist signature is signed in gold on front bronze base. The bronze measures approximately 21" height x 22" length x 8" wide. Mounted on a 1" black marble plinth with a brass plaque marked "COWBOY". The bronze weighs approximately 35 lbs. 2) "Outlaw". The bronze depicts a horse and its rider fleeing form pursuers. The artist signature is on the bronze bases at the rear of the horse. The bronze measures approximately 16 1/2" height x 20" length x 7 1/2" wide. The bronze weighs approximately 15 lbs.

1) Excellent with only slight handling marks and a smooth dark patina. The marble plinth has a high gloss. 2) Excellent with some light verdigris overall.
