Manufactured in 1948. The rifle features a heavyweight barrel with a dovetailed globe front and folding ladder rear peep sights. The barrel has been fitted with scope blocks and mounted with adjustable J. Unertl rings and a J. Unertl scope with a buffer spring. The barrel and receiver have standard markings. Mounted on a smooth pistol grip stock with a single barrel band, short accessory rail near the forend, palm stop, and a checkered steel buttplate. Includes two extra magazines, and inserts for the front sight.

Very fine with 85% plus original blue finish. Displaying some areas of light edge wear, general handling marks, and some light spotting on the trigger guard. The revarnished wood is very good with scattered small indentations, areas of thinned varnish, and general handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The optics are clear.
