Manufactured in Germany by Sauer & Sohn in 1998 based on the barrel code and was imported by Sig Arms. The 202 is designed for easy swapping of calibers and parts. This example was manufactured without sights and is instead mounted with scope rings on the action. It has the standard markings including the caliber designation "Cal. .25-06" on the left side of the barrel at the breech. It has a two piece stock and forearm with sharp checkering, contrasting forend and grip cap wood, an "ORIGINAL/SAUER & SOHN" grip medallion, sling swivels on the forend cap and bottom of the butt, and a Monte Carlo style butt without a cheekpiece and fitted with a vented recoil pad.

Excellent with 98% original blue finish remaining showing some muzzle wear. The wood is also excellent with few small dings and some minor bruising in the otherwise very crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
