R.F. Sedgely produced this specialized bolt-action rifle using the Springfield Model 1903 action. Features include a raised hooded blade front sight and the base for an adjustable Lyman receiver sight. The barrel is marked "R.F. SEDGELY. INC. PHILA. PA. U.S.A." on top above the forend and "CAL .30. 06" on the left side of the barrel next to the receiver. Receiver ring has fine checkering on the polished blue action. The left side of the receiver is fitted with a Griffin & Howe quick release scope mount and J. Unertl Hawk scope. The Sedgely serial number "34" is found in the bolt channel. Checkered one piece walnut pistol grip stock and forend with a Schnabel tip, hard rubber grip cap, sling swivels, checkered blue steel buttplate and a leather sling.

Very fine as professionally built and finished with 95% blue finish, light general handling marks and light cycling marks on the bolt and extractor. The wood is very fine with nice color, scattered minor indentations and well defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
