The side plates, receiver, trigger plate, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware have extensive Purdey style rose and scroll engraving. Has hand detachable side locks, automatic tang safety, ejectors, and dual triggers. The barrels have a single steel bead sight, are choked improved cylinder/modified and have 2 3/4 inch chambers. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered English walnut splinter forearm and straight grip stock with checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: Bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .616/.617 inches; Wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .042/.041 inches; Drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; Drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; 1/8 inch cast off; Length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Excellent with 99% original finish and only light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with sharp checkering and rich color. Mechanically excellent.
