This shotgun features a single brass bead front sight, modified/improved modified chokes, 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor, "T. HEPPLESTONE, MAKER, MANCHESTER WHITWORTH STEEL" on the barrels, nearly full coverage engraving with tight floral scroll patterns throughout aside from the barrels, "T. HEPPLESTONE" in a banner on the sides of the receiver, various English proofmarks on the barrel flats, and a nicely figured, multi-point checkered splinter forearm with ebony tip and straight grip stock with checkered hard rubber buttplate and blank initial oval. Length of pull is 13 3/8 inches. Drop at comb is 1 1/2 inches. Drop at heel is 2 inches. Cast off is 1/2 inch, and toe out is 3/4 inch.

Very good overall as refurbished. The barrels retain 89% of the blue finish with minor dings at the muzzle and mottling to a smooth silver patina. The receiver retains 95% of the, as refinished, coin finish with only slight handling marks. The engravings are crisp and clear. The wood has minor scattered scratches and dings and few pressure dents on the right side of the forearm. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
