Manufactured in 1938. The King front sight has a square red bead and is mounted in front of the mirror inset in the King ventilated rib. The adjustable rear sight is also mounted on the rib which is stamped "COLT-KING SUPER TARGET" on the left side. Equipped with a standard trigger with a wide serrated trigger shoe and checkered hammer.

Very fine as customized by King with 90% plus of the original blue finish with slight handling marks, minor muzzle wear, high edge wear on the cylinder, and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are very fine with minor scattered scratches and dings. The checkering has moderate wear. Mechanically excellent.
