Manufactured in 1941. With a fixed rounded blade front and frame notch rear sights. The barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent dates on the top and "COLT OFFICIAL/POLICE .38" on the left. Standard Colt proofmarks are on the left side of the trigger guard. Fitted with checkered grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with a Colt factory box numbered to gun and papers.

Very fine. The revolver retains 94% of the original nickel finish with minor scattered handling marks, slight muzzle wear and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are very good with scattered scratches and dings. The checkering has moderate wear. The box is good with some corner wear, small areas of the end label absent and one corner on the lid separated. Mechanically excellent.
