Manufactured by Midwest Metal Creations of Lisbon, Iowa. This quality conversion of the widely used Danish Madsen Model 1946 machine gun was made from a Chilean receiver that has been rewelded and restored to be fully operational as a semi-auto rifle that is fully approved by the as BATFE. Fitted with an inverted "V" blade front sight and a rear tangent sight graduated to 1,900 meters. The rifle is chambered in 7.62 NATO The barrel features a perforated shroud, and a long flash hider. Fitted with an adjustable steel bipod and a surplus hardwood stock with a serrated bare butt. Includes two 30 round magazines and a green painted folding metal field mount marked "MADSEN/ML1019" on the traverse and elevation mechanism.

Excellent with 99% of the correct matte blue finish, with minor light handling marks and minor surface scratches. The original wood is very good plus with small dents and some gouges. The tripod shows mild wear and paint loss, with some bending of the barrel clamp obstructing proper mounting. Mechanically excellent as redesigned.
