Manufactured in 1887, the first year of production, and the three digit serial number is stamped on the underside of the frame. Beaded front sight on a Damascus barrel, loose cylinder choke, and smooth round knob pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate. Length of pull is 13 inches.

Very good with period shortened barrel. The shotgun has a mixture of smooth brown and gray patinas with the barrel retaining most of the Damascus pattern and traces of original blue finish in the protected areas and the receiver and lever retaining areas of mostly silvered out case colors. The wood is fine showing some minor dings and scratches.
