Produced by an unknown maker, this is a 5-shot manually rotated pinfire pepperbox revolver installed onto a brass silver ring. The design originated in France, most commonly under the "Petit Protector" name, with small 4mm chambers which could accept a solid ball round or a blank cartridge. The ring (approximately U.S. size 16) is undecorated. Included with the lot is a modern jewelry case.

Excellent as custom made, with 90% plus blue finish, and some light handling marks overall. Mechanically fine.
