This is a beautiful example of a John Rigby custom rifle. Fitted with a 26 inch taped barrel manufactured without sights. The top of the barrel is gold inlaid "John Rigby & Co. London, England". There is a 1 1/2 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving on each side at the breech and muzzle. The receiver features floral scroll engraving and "8 mm Rem. Mag." gold inlaid on the left side. The knob on the bolt handle and trigger guard have the same engraved design. The hinged floor plate is finished in satin grey and is engraved with a leopards head in an oval panel surrounded by floral scroll designs and is signed "B. BURGESS." The bolt, extractor and follower are jeweled, and the remainder of the rifle is finished blue. It is mounted with a beautiful 3X pistol grip stock with multi-point checkering, contrasting forend, metal grip cap engraved and gold inlaid "RFD/3", sling swivel bases, cheekpiece and solid Decelerator recoil pad. Comes with John Rigby aluminum case.

Near new with only light handling/storage marks. The scope is as new. The case is good with tape residue and one of the four latches absent.
