Description:

Manufactured in 1901 and subsequently engraved and silver plated. The revolver has 70% coverage of floral scroll and punch dot engraving, including the front sight and hammer sides. The front of the frame is signed with a stylistic "CB" for Charles Baker of Arizona. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address, "41 COLT" is on the left side, and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers and "163" assembly number on the loading gate. Standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, all silver finish, and fitted with smooth pearl grips with gold Colt medallions.

Rating Definition:

Very good as professionally embellished with most of the silver finish remaining, much of which has darkened or turned a goldish tint with age. The grips are also very good with some minor chipping on the right heel, a small chip on the right toe and a moderate chip on the left toe. The markings and engraving remain crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
