Manufactured in 1899. Matching serial numbers and "924" assembly number on the loading gate. Standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, barrel length, blue finish, with grips as "Not Listed" and that it was shipped as 1 of 5 to A.F. Shapleigh Hardware in St. Louis, Mo., on June 6, 1897. Comes with a 36 inch brown leather cartridge belt (34 cartridge loops) and single loop holster.

Rating Definition:

Good overall. The revolver has a smooth mottled gray patina with traces of some faded original blue finish in protected areas. The right grip panel shows some smoothing of the checkering; otherwise, the grips show overall moderate wear. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The belt is fine with some heavy wear and separated stitching on three loops. The buckle and attaching strap are replacements. The holster is good with some wear and tight stitching.
