The receiver and lock plates have full coverage engraving with fine scroll and bird scenes of quail on the right, ducks on the left, and a pigeon on the underside. The trigger guard is engraved to match with scroll and a retriever dog. The internal lock components are gold plated. With dual triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. Checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings and Anson style latch and straight grip stock with tear drop flats and checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .622/.620 inch; minimum wall thickness .025/.025 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Excellent overall. 99% original blue finish remains with some light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with attractive figure, rich color, some small dings, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
