This is an example of a 1906 Navy Luger with the safety lever in the lower position showing the "GESICHERT" marking in the upper position, a six-inch length barrel, blank chamber, two-position naval rear sight, grip safety, and stock lug. The top of the chamber area is blank and the left side of the barrel extension has a Impearl Navy proof and two Imperial Navy "crown/M proofs", with the Imperial Navy proof repeated on the left side of the barrel and breechblock and a "crown/M" proof on the barrel underside. The toggle has the DWM logo. The extractor and safety are marked "GELADEN" and "GESICHERT" respectively. The back strap is marked "W.W./819". Full serial number with "a" suffix on the frame and barrel, with the partial serial number (07) on the takedown latch, side plate, and toggle link. Straw colored small parts, checkered walnut grips, and wood base magazine numbered to a different gun. Complete with an approved reproduction black leather holster, takedown tool, cleaning rod, wood stock with attaching iron unmarked, and a dual magazine pouch with two mismatched magazines.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The pistol retains 90% faded original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown with loss at the muzzle and some light spotting (mostly on the front grip strap). There is some very scattered, minor pitting with an area of deep pitting on the rear of the frame. The small parts retain 50% original straw color. The grips are very good with a large dent near the magazine catch and some minor dings. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine and the magazine pouch is good with the latching strap detached from the pouch. The stock is very fine with some scattered minor handling marks.
