This is an exceptionally fine late production Walther Mod. PPK pistol rig that is fitted with a set of the highly desirable Political Leader Party grips, an original Party Leader holster, belt and gold colored Party Leader belt buckle. These PPKs fitted with the Party Leader type grips were officially known as the "Honor Weapon of the Political Leaders" as they were usually presented to high ranking Nazi officers for meritorious service to the party. The grips themselves are a one-piece wraparound grip consisting of a mottled-brown plastic material that has the distinctive large Nazi eagle clutching a swastika encircled by a wreath at the top on both sides with the balance of the grip having impressed checkering. NSDAP Party Leader grips are found on Walther PPKs in two serial number ranges; 850,000 to 935,000 and again in the 174,000K to 234,965K range which indicates that this example was produced just in the end of the last SN block. This example has the standard two line factory markings of the Walther Banner, factory legend, caliber and model designation. The pistol is a pre-war commercial model with the "Crown/N" proofmarks on the slide, chamber area and front end of the barrel. The pistol has a 60 degree safety lever, cartridge indicator pin and lanyard loop on the bottom of the frame. The serial number is marked on the right side of the frame with the last three digits (412) correctly scratched inside the slide. It comes with two original Walther marked blued magazines, one with a matching mottled brown plastic extended finger rest and the other a flat base. As noted this scarce pistol comes with an original Party Leader brown leather holster that is stamped with the large Nazi eagle on the front flap. The lower front flap is stamped, "D.R.G.M./Crossed Rifles/Akah" and ink stamped on the inside with "Walther/PPK". It also comes with a reproduction brown Party Leader dress belt. It has a green ink stamp on the inside that shows a: "95/Combat Assault Badge, (steelhelm/crossed bayonets/wreath) Guntee Michaels/Krauzacker.53.TEL." The gold colored aluminum Party Leader belt buckle is marked on the back side with a small circled RZM mark/M4/72".

Very fine with 90% of the blue finish overall with high spot wear and slight blue loss on the front edge of the slide. The grips are in good condition overall with some slight warping on the lower front edges and a larger crack on the left upper side. The holster is extremely fine condition with just some light wrinkling on top in the hinge area. All the markings are crisp and sharp. The belt and belt buckle are both in very fine condition.
