Description:

Constructed from tan/khaki material overall, with the tunic outfitted for an unteroffizer (sergeant) assigned to an engineering unit in the Afrikakorps. 1) The tunic has a faded maker's mark on the inside of the right breast, above the size numbers "11 00/92/71 61" and "M12", with "tropical" pattern collar trim, tabs, boards and eagle, the boards also piped in black waffenfarbe, with a black on tan embroidered signal patch on the left sleeve and the blue and silver "AFRIKAKORPS" cuff title on the right. A ribbon for an Iron Cross 2nd class is threaded through one of the button holes. The buttons are pebbled alloy, with detachable backing, with a set of compressed board buttons on the cuffs. 2) The trousers are of similar material construction, with an integral herringbone twill adjustment belt, a faded makers mark by the fly and the size markings "70 82/104 90" and "42 8" inside the waistband. 3) Suspender/belt rig, olive canvas construction, with a green painted steel "GOTT MIT UNS" belt buckle.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall, with some minor wear and staining. A button is absent from the left cuff, and the Iron Cross ribbon is fraying slightly.
