Developed in 1933, the Standard Model was the final commercial configuration issued by the pre-war Mauser factory. Blade and tangent sights, with the Mauser banner on top of the receiver ring, "crown/ letter" proofs on the left side, and "STANDARD-MODELL " on the sidewall. Milled components, with matching numbers on the bolt, floor plate and trigger guard. Smooth straight grip stock with a flat buttplate.

Excellent, with 98% of the bright original blue finish, with some minor handling marks overall. Aged storage grease is present in the crevices and nearly of the blue remains on the bolt face. The stock is also excellent, with some dents and scratches overall, as well as some scuffing from the mid band. Mechanically excellent.
