Description:

Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights. The left side of the receiver is marked "K43" and "ac/45". "Eagle/359" Waffenamt proofs are on a number of components, and matching numbers are on the bolt carrier. The receiver is the late type three rough cast version with minimal machining, integral scope rail and the single bolt guide. Installed on the rail is a "ddx" marked "Gw ZF/4" scope numbered "41137" with an unproofed, unfinished reproduction alloy base. It also has the late rough cast bolt carrier with a hollow cocking knob on the left side and no hold-open device. It has the late stamped action cover with external sliding dust cover. The refinished stock and handguard are the late war laminated versions with stamped trigger guard, Waffenamt stamp on the pistol grip, and a cupped buttplate with trapdoor. Includes a brown leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with over half of the refinished phosphate blue finish, showing mixed texture on the barrel and rough machining on the front sight base (possibly due to late war production issues), with areas of brown patina, and the receiver components are turning a mixed gray. A repaired split is visible in the handguard; otherwise, the stock is good, with mild scuffs and dents. The optics are hazy but with a solid reticle, and the incomplete reproduction base is missing parts. Mechanically fine.
