Blade front and tangent rear sights, with "243/1940" and "eagle/26" proofs on the receiver ring, and "Mod.98" on the receiver wall. Smooth matching numbered pistol grip stock, with a brown leather sling, faint "eagle/M" Kriegsmarine stamp on the right side of the buttstock, and a smooth buttplate.

Fine as assembled (mixed numbered bolt), with 50% of the blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. The stock has been cleaned/sanded, with a few light dings and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
