Developed in 1933, the Standard Model was the final commercial configuration issued by the pre-War Mauser factory. Blade and tangent sights, with the Mauser banner on top of the receiver ring, "crown/ letter" proofs on the left side, and "STANDARD-MODELL " on the sidewall. Milled components, with matching numbers on the bolt, floor plate and trigger guard. Smooth straight grip stock with a flat buttplate. Fitted with a brown leather sling and a blued steel muzzle protector. Missing cleaning rod.

Very fine, with 97% of the original blue finish, showing a few areas of gray patina, bright high point wear and minor spotting and handling marks. The bolt shows some mild spotting and is bright overall. The revarnished stock is very fine, with some scuffing on the grip region, along with other light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
