Blade and tangent sights, with "Crown/ERFURT/1916", three "crown/script letter" proofs, and an "imperial eagle" on the receiver ring and "Kar 98." on the left side wall. Matching numbers are present on multiple components, including the barrel bands, floor plate, trigger guard, bolt, screws and stock. Smooth pistol grip stock, with "crown/letter" proofs, "B" stamped on the left side of the buttstock, and a flat matching numbered buttplate. Included with the lot are a spring-loaded steel muzzle protector and a sheet metal two-piece receiver dust cover.

Fine, with 60% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray and brown patina, mild scuffs and wear concentrated around the muzzle, and scattered spotting. The refinished stock is also fine, with some light chips, scuffs and dings. Mechanically excellent.
