Manufactured in 1932. Fixed sights, with the two-line Hartford address and patent dates on the left side of the matching numbered slide and "COLT SUPER .38/ AUTOMATIC" on the right next to the Rampant Colt. Wide milled hammer, short trigger and arched mainspring housing, with checkered grips and a two-tone magazine.

Very fine with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing the start of a brown patina on the front strap, bright edge wear, and some light handling marks and spotting. The grips are also very fine, with some dings and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
