The matching numbers are present on the underside of the slide. It has a casehardened spur hammer; niter blue trigger, screws and pins; full nickel finished magazine with 1884 patent date, and a pair of checkered Colt banner grips.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 50% of the original blue finish, showing a gray and brown patina on the grip straps, trigger guard, and along the edges, streaks of gray on the underside of the frame, light scratches and spotting. The trigger pin is battered. The case colors remain 70% intact, with 60% of the fiery niter blue on the small parts. The grips are also fine, with the left panel showing a lighter shade of brown, a few scratches, and good detail. Mechanically excellent.
