Manufactured in 1910. Fixed sights with the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, caliber markings on the right, and "VP" and "5" on the trigger guard. Casehardened trigger and safeties with a niter blue magazine catch. With a Colt "black box" hand-marked "21653/SMNW/12.00" on the bottom, blue "COLT AUTOMATIC PISTOL/.25" label, barrel brush, instruction sheet and a 1975 bill of sale. The inside of the lid is pencil marked "Daniel Morrell/July 9th 1948/For Claning(sic)/1-Colt Revolver H101104".

Very fine with 90% of the slightly faded original blue finish showing bright edge wear, a few patches of brown and gray patina with light handling marks overall. Grips are also very fine with minor dings and crisp decoration. The box is fair with some torn edges and wear. Mechanically excellent.
