Manufactured in 1917. Replacement fixed blade front and flat top notch rear sights, standard two-line/two-block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, "GOVERNMENT MODEL" stamped above the serial number on the right side of the frame, and Colt "VP" and "T" proofs and inspection marks on the left side of the trigger guard. Long solid trigger, checkered slide stop, safety, and magazine catch; short grip safety, and smooth, flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop. With double diamond checkered grips. Includes Audley leather holster, modern Colt plastic case, extra unmarked barrel, and two extra two-tone blue magazines with lanyard loops.

Fine. 85% original blue finish remains with some edge wear, light brown patina on the grip straps, numerous small scratches, and handling marks overall. The grips are also very fine with sharp checkering, and some small dings. The barrel is a modern replacement as is the front sight which has cold blue touch up. Mechanically excellent. Holster is fine with tight stitching, overall solid construction, some verdigris, and scuffs throughout. Extra barrel and magazines are good overall.
