Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, "AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the right, and matching serial numbers. Equipped with a slide catch, a lanyard ring on the square butt, and checkered Colt banner grips with Rampant Colt imprints.

Fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, with areas of gray and brown patina, edge wear, and noticeable dents visible on lower front gripstrap. The grips are good, with both panels a bit loose, tool marks on the screws, and cracking of the right panel. Mechanically excellent. Magazine absent.
