This revolver was manufactured in 1906 and has both the "POCKET/POSITIVE" marking on the right side of the barrel and the "COLT'S/Rampant Colt logo/NEW POCKET" on the left side of the frame. The crane, frame, and grips are all marked "428." The barrel also has "COLT'S PATENT FIRE ARMS MFG. Co./HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. - PAT'D/AUG. 5, 1884 JUNE 5m 1900 JULY 4 1905" on top and "COLT D.A. 32" on the left. It comes with a black/purple box with New Pocket blue end label with blue crossed out in pencil and marked with an unclear word above, an added "THE WITHIN REVOLVER IS NOT/ADAPTED FOR/SMOKELESS POWDER." label on top, New Pocket interior label, reproduction papers, "32387" marked in pencil along with some other markings including "38 S&W/DEPARTURE/BLUE" on the bottom.

Very fine with 95% plus original blue and niter blue finish, minor fading at the edges and grip straps, light marks and scratches, and slight spotting. The grips are also very fine and have attractive aged tones, light handling and storage wear, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The updated box is good and has moderate storage wear including some small tears.
